Morgan and Sam

I met Morgan when she was a bridesmaid for her soon to be matron on honour Emily. When she first contacted me I knew right away who she was. She was the one with the big heart and big smile.

So it was an honour to now be Morgan’s wedding photographer.

Morgan and Sam prepared for their wedding day at the intimate Bristol wedding venue, Berwick Lodge.

As a Berwick Lodge recommended supplier,  I am lucky to shoot there quite frequently. As a result, I knew exactly where I needed to find my bride. As I went up the grand staircase and opened the bridal suite door, I was greeted by the biggest smile on Morgan‘s face.

Her bridesmaids were sitting around her, keeping her calm and busy. Emily, one of my previous brides who was also Morgans’ maid of honour, was like a perfect mother hen working her way around the room, making sure that everything was laid out and ready for Morgan in time for the final preparations.

The wedding ceremony took place in Berwick Lodge’s intimate ceremony room. With all the guests waiting anxiously for Morgan’s arrival, Sam stood at the top of the aisle anticipating his future bride’s entry.

The weather held off and we had a beautiful day. The guests enjoyed canapés on the lawn, and there was a flurry of activity as they waited for the couple to have their wedding photographs taken.

I always find it really exciting to photograph couples and their friends. It’s so easy when everybody is relaxed and happy to have their picture taken. As we waved to Wales, guests did fist pumps, played games, and laughed together; this wedding was everything I expected it to be and more.

If you are planning your wedding at Berwick Lodge or are looking for a Gloucestershire wedding photographer, please get in touch as I would love to be part of your day.

Wishing Morgan and Sam a lifetime of happiness. x
