I get to travel around the UK as a wedding photographer and photograph some stunning wedding venues. And as a Canadian, every time I show up at a venue I get pretty excited as I step out of my truck and see an AMAZING place towering before me (I am gitty just writing this!)

Last week I was up at Cowley Manor, in Cheltenham and the best part is I got to experience it in the snow! There had been so much snow at Cowley that people had been stranded there (not a bad place to be stranded I must say!) and I was VERY glad I had my 4×4 to get me down the slick icy roads.
We arrived at the hotel and found ourselves having a cheeky coffee before work started, looking out over the frozen lake and feeling the warmth of the fire on our backs and the Christmas tree happily sparkling away in the corner. Once warmed up the day of work began and what a GLORIOUS day it was! Who doesn’t love weddings, flowers, brides and cake!?!?!?
Meeting with Jules Whitfield from Wild and Co Flowers, and Katherine Edwards of Cherish Cakes, we were able to create a magical winter wonderland in the marquee at Cowley Manor.
I don’t think many people know about the marquee as it isn’t up all year round, but it just adds to the awesomeness of this building.
A big thank you to Nicola (wedding coordinator at Cowley Manor) for keeping me warm with coffee and to all the special people we met that day to make this so much fun!
