Intimate Perfection

A wedding of epic proportions. A small and intimate family wedding. That sums up this beautiful wedding that took place at Kingscote Barn, Gloucestershire, on a foggy and mystical New Year’s Eve of 2019.
My day started by getting horribly lost trying to find Emma. The road to the venue was closed and I was sent on a wild goose chase around the Gloucestershire countryside trying to find another way in. But my perseverance paid off and I found my way. I was welcome in to the Tuppence Barn by  a beautiful lady and her family.

Heading to Kingscote Barn, there was a floury of activity at the barn as I arrived. The Wilde Bunch were doing the finishing touches on the gorgeous floral arrangements that were dressed around the venue. From hanging wreaths and candles, to vintage boxes overflowing with florals and greenery. There was not one area of the barn untouched by their vision.
As the family arrived, Matt Bee, The Cotswold Wedding Guitarist was set up in the main room, serenading guests to their chairs. All waiting for the arrival of Emma.
Guy sat nervously with his family showing a mix of emotions and he waited for Emma’s imminent arrival. Emma, was making the last preparations in the bridal suite for her walk down towards her new husband.

The Ceremony

The music began. The sweeping dress and a veil that draped Emma came gracefully down the aisle with an air of grace and beauty. Emma’s elegance was truly breathtaking for all.
The ceremony was led to a finish with a new husband and wife team and the guests congratulating a new partnership and a new family member.
The canapés and champagne were at the ready and the family celebrated with some food by the always amazing Clever Chefs!
The evening went into romantic candlelight as the room was dressed with an evening of stunning food and dancing.
With a surprise saxophone appearance by Lloyd Cottrell, the music was in full swing. The last hours of 2019 were seen with the family on the dance floor.
I wish you all the very best in your future together. It was an honour photographing your beautiful, intimate wedding.
