Love in Action
Romans 12:9-18
Love must be sincere.
Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
Be devoted to one another in love.
Honor one another above yourselves.
Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Esther and Sam’s day was set with one agenda in mind – sealing their love with a promise. With the glorious August sun raging in the sky, God’s blessing upon this couple streamed down from heaven in an abundance of rays of sunshine.
Esther’s family home was full of bustle and activity as last minute preparations were completed. Hair sprayed to perfection, dresses on and zipped up – and Esther’s dad so excited he was found putting on his wife’s 3/4 length suit jacket in haste.
Sam on the other hand was known to be calm, relaxed and ready for the days action in his mellowed hotel room near the Severn Bridge.
As the day unfolded Esther and Sam were greeted with hugs and blessings of love from many of their friends and family who travelled from various parts of the UK to Thornbury Baptist church. As everyone gathered around Esther and Sam broke cake tradition and cut the naked wedding cake designed by Emma Alexandra after their ceremony in order to share with their church family at the church and gardens.
The wedding breakfast was held on the stunning grounds of Tockington Manor School. School by day, exclusive wedding venue by weekend. Garden games and a picnic style hog roast by the incredible team from Dolman’s Catering were all simply perfect for their day.
Sam and Esther I wish you all the best on your marriage and future together. May you continue to be blessed and abundant in all that you do.
