A beautiful elopement in London at the Fitzroy Hotel followed by the ceremony at the Fitzrovia Chapel.
The story is incredibly emotional, so be prepared to be moved.

The sun was shining on the beginning of the Easter weekend. Among the sites and sounds of London is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of London’s Fitzrovia district. This historic chapel, with its stunning architecture and rich history, offers visitors a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city.

As the girls prepared nearby in the Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel, the black cab picked them up to whisk them off on their elopement adventure.

The chapel’s ornate stained glass windows and intricate ceiling designs are truly breathtaking, showcasing the skilled craftsmanship of the era. The grandeur of the space is further enhanced by its elegant marble columns and beautiful floral arrangements. As we walked inside this magical sanctuary, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe and serenity wash over us. Greeted by the wonderful staff, the registrars were ready to start the wedding ceremony.

A personal ceremony, with personal vows, had all of the attendants in tears (yes, literally all of us were crying!). The joy and celebration of a long relationship that sees a marriage is truly magical. The ladies were heading off on their honeymoon, and I took their dresses home with me so they didn’t have to take them halfway around the world with them.

If you are planning an elopement, don’t forget to celebrate your elopement in a way that feels meaningful to you. Whether it’s a dinner at your favorite restaurant or a weekend getaway to a romantic destination, take the time to honor your commitment to each other and the beginning of your new life together.
