Frogmill Inn | May Wedding | Katie and Laurie

On my first meeting with Katie and Laurie, I was greeted but the most fantastic energy. Katie and Laurie were full of smiles and bounce (yes bounce as in so much energy they could zap me with some of it). After out initial meeting at the Frogmill Inn and our walk around and mini pre wedding shoot.  I was all set to be their wedding photographer.

I could envision what they were thinking in regards to their English country wedding photography dreams. And with the beautiful Frogmill Inn both inside and outside to use, it was just a matter of them getting married to get their dream wedding photography story.

The wedding day was wet mostly wet. But when we were inside it rained and most of the day when we went outside it stayed dry. Using the bridal suite at Frogmill Inn,  Katie and her bridesmaids had the most beautiful room and light that will make any wedding photographer in Gloucestershire do a happy dance for.

Katie’s first dress of the day (yes two!! so exciting!) was designed by Justin Alexander. It was all about the bow on the back. With a cathedral veil to top it off; Katie was exquisite.

Laurie waited with his family in the ceremony room to welcome his new bride down the aisle. As Katie swept in with her beautiful bridesmaids leading the way, it was a room of smiles and tears as these two incredible people became Mr and Mrs.

The party went from strength to strength and no amount of rain was going to slow this party down.

The whole day was brilliant to photograph because of the dream team of wedding suppliers that Katie and Laurie used for their day. From the impeccable floral designs by Wild and Co, to the Make up by Holly and the paper designs by Emerald Paper Design beautifully placed by The Little Wedding Helper, Kirsten.
