Moving to an entirely new country is daunting. I know because I am Canadian and now living in the UK. At least I moved from one speaking English country to another (for the most part it is similar… I do have my tendency to slip up on words!) But Man Hua took it in her stride. Coming to England to marry and then moving on to the US with her wonderfully new husband was no easy task, but she sure makes it look easy.
Why not find inspiration in others who have gone before you!? I say heck yes!

I always warn bride’s. There is one thing that you cannot control: the weather.
Tamsin and Tom were all knowing that by getting married in the UK, in October, the weather will be of it’s own mind. The morning started with a heavy fog resting on Elmore Court, but by the time the ceremony was complete the sun was bursting through the clouds and the most beautiful sunlight came streaming through.
With a beautiful autumnal wedding taking place in the hall of Elmore Court; it was just the most beautiful light cascading through those windows that any wedding photographer could ask for.
The guests were seated, Tom and his brothers were waiting nervously at the top (even his brothers were nervous) with the angels looking down on them. AS the music started, I was in place ready to photograph the most beautiful Tamsin come sweeping down the aisle to her best friend Tom.

With Tamsin the owner of White Truffle Signs , guests were in love with the beautiful variety of signs around Elmore Court.
The table centre pieces of flowers were all designed The Rose Shed with hues of orange and autumnal foliage.
Family is everything.

You spend so much time planning the design of your cake, and making it fit your wedding story and then it arrives in all its glory … and gets placed on a borrowing round table with a white tablecloth.
HELLO!!! It’s screaming at you under all that glorious buttercream “PLEASE PUT ME ON A PEDESTAL AND BE A SHOWSTOPPER!!”
I get to travel around the UK as a wedding photographer and photograph some stunning wedding venues. And as a Canadian, every time I show up at a venue I get pretty excited as I step out of my truck and see an AMAZING place towering before me (I am gitty just writing this!)
