Moving to an entirely new country is daunting. I know because I am Canadian and now living in the UK. At least I moved from one speaking English country to another (for the most part it is similar… I do have my tendency to slip up on words!) But Man Hua took it in her stride. Coming to England to marry and then moving on to the US with her wonderfully new husband was no easy task, but she sure makes it look easy.
With Siânnise and Luke T heading into their last few nights in the Love Island villa, I was tagged on Instagram in a message:
We live in an amazing super humongous world and yet the small, tiny island of Great Britain is full of some of the most outstandingly beautiful places I have ever seen. Nestled in the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, Euridge House & Orangery or also known as The Lost Orangery is a wedding photographer’s dream venue.
What a day. I figured on my morning business meeting in the field with my partner in wedding crime, Katherine Edwards of Cherish Cakes, that we could come up with a fabulous styled wedding shoot to help fill the cold, wintry months while we wait for our wedding season to kick off.
The chaos of Christmas may have been in full swing, but the moment I stepped out of my vehicle and walked into Bowood Hotel, my wedding photographer hat was on and it was all go full of excitement. You may know I love weddings and when I wake up I am literally bouncing out of bed to head out because I just love the fact every wedding is so very different.
The girls were in full swing, the Christmas music playing, the trees dressed and the dresses hung ready to be dancing around all day.
We were blessed with a warm September’s day. On arrival at the AirBnB, I was greeted at the door by Gemma the most beautiful September bride. It was a flurry of activity getting ready and once everyone was dressed they were all whisked off to the church.
With a wonderful, touching ceremony and several laughs during the sermon, it was on to the gorgeous grounds of Bowood Hotel Golf & Spa Resort, Wiltshire. As you are welcomed through the grand gates, we couldn’t help but stop and take a few pictures.

I met with the health visitor for Abel’s one year check up and she said to me “if you could sum up this year in one word what would it be?” “WHIRLWIND”
