We have had the most perfect summer weather, starting in May. Many of us Cotswold wedding photographers were worried the weather might decide to drastically change by August, but I can say it didn’t disappoint as it only delivered for the most beautiful wedding at The Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury.
The barn was a flurry of wedding prep activity as guests arrived from all over the UK to stay for the night. Mark finished off the last of the list of things to do left to him from Mel with the help of his groomsmen and guests.
The brief for this wedding was – fun and relaxed and I believe that is just what it was. Mel’s stunning dress by Naomi Neoh was donned with extra care as the added touch of the rose which brought out the hint of pink that rippled through her silk gown was secured onto her wedding dress.
With a short drive through the Cotswolds to Malmesbury Abbey, in all its glory, Mel was welcomed into the service with the choir singing to the heavens. The sun was blasting through the windows and the service concluded with a new husband and wife.
As the guests found their way back at The Tythe barn, there was a plethora of activities to photograph. With bouncy races, balls being thrown and The Ardeton String Quartet serenading the guests as they drank their Pimm’s on the lawns, there was a picture around every corner.
