NO 131 – Cheltenham
I found myself working as a wedding photographer in the heart of the spa town of Cheltenham. Where true English magic comes boasting to life. The beautiful venue No 131, located on the Promenade is a very romantic wedding venue and the perfect intimate wedding venue in the Cotswolds. You can have candles around every corner. The scent of flowers bringing all your senses into an explosion of happiness. Every room in NO131 will sing the praise of elegance and romance for your micro wedding.
So how do you make your wedding dress shrink from hundreds of guests down to a handful? Will you still get the rush of excitement? Will you still have the butterflies as you walk down the aisle to your partner? The answer is YES! My first recommendation is this: make it as exciting as your original wedding dream. Have the flowers, your perfect dress, makeup, hair and cake. Have a musician playing music as your guests mingle around you. As you have the TIME (yes time) to hold your new husband or wife’s hand, to steal kisses and exchange TRUE conversation. Take the time several times during the day to go out with your wedding photographer and make use of the weather and sun throughout the day. These are all the things that you can miss out on on a BIG wedding day.
This small intimate wedding was designed with a couture, handmade wedding dress by designer Catharina Eden of My Eden. A wedding dress designer who has worked alongside Alexander McQueen to the perfect hair and makeup by Simon Smith Hair and Alexandrias Freida Make up who are based in Cheltenham.
For the wedding breakfast, trestle tables were used to fit the maximum number of guests into the cosy Cheltenham wedding venue. Candlelight bounced gently off the walls and the food was served.
